Dr. Prateek Tiwari is an Oncologist (Cancer Specialist) practising at Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital & Research Centre in Bhopal as Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist. He specialises in Oncology and Haematology.

Dr. Tiwari completed his undergraduate and initial postgraduate medical education from NSCB Medical College in Jabalpur, for the MBBS and MD (Paediatrics) degrees, which he received in 2007 and 2011 respectively. He worked at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai for a year as Senior Resident in the Medical Oncology Department, and then at AIIMS New Delhi (IRCH) for a year, also as Senior Resident in the Medical Oncology Department there.

Dr. Prateek Tiwari studied and trained at the Cancer Institute at Adyar (Chennai) for three years, working in several sub-specialities, including bone marrow transplant, day care, intensive care and paediatric oncology. He was involved in various aspects of patient care and management of all haematological and solid malignancies.

After obtaining the DM (Medical Oncology) degree from the Cancer Institute in 2016, Dr. Tiwari worked there as Consultant Medical Oncologist for six months and then joined Bombay Hospital in Indore as Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist, where he served for a year. During this period, he also obtained the title of DNB (Medical Oncology) from the National Board of Education and ESMO certification from the European Society for Medical Oncology. Dr. Tiwari took up his current post at Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital in April 2018.
